Awaiting Spring Term information...
It is so important to be reading regularly at home. The children will bring home a phonetically plausible reading book each week which we expect that they will read 5 times a week. We will change their home reader every Friday. We only change these books once a week so that the children can develop their fluency.
In Maths, we are exploring addition and subtraction within 10. We will be using our understanding of parts and wholes to help us. We will also be learning about 2D and 3D shapes. We will recognise, name and describe a range of shapes. DON'T FORGET.... recognising numbers and simple additions is VERY important, so keep using Numbots to ensure rapid recall of all number facts the children need to know.
