DOUBLING

In Puffins class, we have already learnt how to halve things (and numbers!). Doubling is a completely opposite thing. Funny, isn’t it?

• Take a few small objects. Count how many you have got. Put a small mirror just next to them and count how many altogether, including their reflections.  

• Take a piece of paper and fold it in a half. Put some dots of paint on one side, fold it and press it gently. Open the paper and check how many dots you have got now.
