Some online maths lessons available during school closures. The connect 4 addition and subtraction games uploaded on 24th March are fantastic!

Hit The Button is a great game for practicing fluency in number facts - especially number bonds! There are lots of other learning based games on Top Marks so feel free to have an explore.

Maths card game - Total of 10

Set out 20 cards face up on the table (with picture cards removed). The first player takes 2 or more cards off the table which have a total of 10. The aim of the game is to clear the table and be the player with the most cards at the end.

Telling the time in analogue (part 1) Using just the hour hand to understand o'clock and half past

This is the 1st of 4 videos on analogue time. In this video we are only focusing on the hour hand to learn o' clock and half past the hour. We look at the hours 1-12 on a straight line number line before looking at them in a circle. This is to show that reading a clock is no more difficult than reading a number line.
