Welcome to Swallow Class!

Hello Swallow Class for September 2020!

My name is Mr Thompson and I will be your new teacher as you move into Year 2! I cannot wait to meet you all!

Monday 6th July

Hello Swallows

I've spoken to all of your parents and I've even been lucky enough to speak to some of you over the past fortnight. I'm so proud to hear how you've been happy at home and working hard on  your learning at home. I still love to see your pictures so keep them coming in.

Below is a selection of some of the pieces that I had in.

Jessica  has completed some addition over multiples of ten and done some super work on fairytales. This week the Maths videos are all about addition and subtraction so make sure you check them out.

Bradley has loved the routing work using geographical skills. He has completed the route home and used really clear directional language.

Zachary has been discovering facts about animals as well as learning about some of his favourite fairy tales. He really enjoys the language in the fairytales and he's been practising his reading of different stories. He did a fab job of reading 'Little Red Riding Hood'.

Ramin has been learning about fairytales and he has been linking fairytales to their individual lot lines. What big ideas he has!

Lyra has done a super job informing us all of what has happened to her caterpillars. A diary is a great way to show changes over time. Well done Lyra!

You may have noticed that SumDog noticed is no longer the full version. Sadly, we will not be extending this but keep playing your TT Rockstars and NumBots.

Please keep sending in your learning and fun to the class email.
