Welcome to Swallow Class!

Mr Thompson, Mrs Barnes and Mrs Valentine

Spring 2

This half term we will be learning all about doubles, halves and division in maths. The children have already completed a fantastic two weeks on seesaw. We will continue to work on The Owl and the Pussy Cat' poem by Edward Lear and Flat Stanley - Jeff Brown. In Science, we are looking at animals and their habitats. The children will think about how animals have adapted to their surroundings and develop their understanding of the learning started in Year 1.

I am very much looking forward to seeing all of Swallow Class! I cannot wait for a term of fantastic learning with you all!

Please continue to support your child with reading 1:1 at home each day! This is vital to ensuring that they do not fall behind. Seesaw homework will be sent out each Monday to be completed over the week. Spellings will be sent out each Friday after the weekly test.

If you need to contact me regarding online learning please email:

Best wishes
